Oracle Database helps the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics to optimize its computing capacities

The SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics has decided on the use of the Oracle Database. The solution will help SIB cope with the rapidly growing amount of data ranging from DNA sequencing to more unstructured data and increasing demand in fast, accurate and rapid computational access.

The Institute decided in favor of the Oracle Database because of Oracles’ proven track record in the storage and data mining market.
